Signature Crime Behavior Analysis, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering law enforcement agencies consultation or training in crime behavior analysis for the purpose of furthering investigative opportunities when crimes have gone unsolved, involve a high degree of interpersonal violence, or are of a serial nature.
Services are offered due to our strong belief in promoting community safety by supporting law enforcement efforts in capturing violent offenders while providing a sense of hope for closure to the victims of violent crimes.
Investigative Value
The interpretation of behavioral evidence left by an offender within the context of a violent crime scene can assist an investigation when physical evidence and other leads have failed to identify a suspect.
Crime behavior analysis can offer new perspectives to cold cases and create additional investigative opportunities by focusing on the victim-offender interaction. A close examination of this interaction can lead to a better understanding of offender motivation and the development of offender characteristics.¬
